Here is a tutorial about ed.voicethread.com, an educational subset of the main site. This is a fee based service I would buy for any staff who want to voicethread with students K-8, and I know other librarians would too.
Now, choose your poison. Pick which technology excites you the most, grab a microphone if you don't have one, and explore by creating one of your own.
